Hi, I'm McKenzie - a Practicing Senior Legal Counsel & Certified Career Coach.

WHAT I DO
I help legal professionals and law students gain clarity, confidence, and momentum in their careers. Through strategic, personalized coaching, I work with clients navigating career pivots, seeking alignment, preparing for high-stakes interviews, or simply trying to identify what's next and how to get there. If you're ready to cut through the noise and build a career path that actually fits you, I'm here to help you make bold, aligned moves forward.
MY APPROACH
I bring a direct, honest approach - grounded in compassion and a genuine commitment to your success. I’ll tell you what you need to hear, not just what’s easy to say, and I’ll back it with the judgment of someone who’s been where you are.
I create a judgment-free space where you're encouraged to think boldly, act decisively, and challenge the status quo, whether that means reshaping your current role, navigating a pivot, or planning your next move.

Drawing on a deep understanding of the legal profession and real-world experience, I combine strategic guidance with authentic support. I ask the tough questions, acknowledge the wins, and help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
WHY WORK WITH ME
I've been where you are - navigating high-stakes decisions, questioning the path forward, and working to align a demanding legal career with a fulfilling personal life. I've made several intentional, strategic career transitions within the profession, across law firms and in-house roles, from litigation to commercial and corporate practice. Each move was grounded in clarity about my strengths, values, and long-term vision -not impulse.

That lived experience is at the heart of how I coach because I know firsthand what it takes to own your career with intention. I bring a sharp eye for opportunities others might miss - helping you see the full range of possibilities, even when they aren't obvious.

I'm also a mother of two. Priorities evolve as life does, and knowing how to build a career that grows with you, rather than in competition with the rest of your life, isn't just possible - it's the foundation of long-term success and fulfillment.
